Gaeltec specializes
in the manufacture of miniature pressure sensors. We are registered with BSI and have
achieved the relevant certification for the manufacture of digital
medical recorders and medical pressure transducers. The sensors are used in a range of Gaeltec products including catheter tip transducers for gastroenterology, urology, oesophageal manometry and ano-rectal manometry. We also produce engineering pressure transducers and other sensors for physiological measurements outside of the body. The Gaeltec range of ambulatory recorders and software complement the catheter tip pressure transducers to provide a full PC based manometry recording and analysis system running under Windows. We also manufacture electronic interfaces to connect Gaeltec catheter tip pressure transducers to other signal conditioning and amplification systems.
