Catheter Tip Pressure
Transducers for Gastroenterology [back to top menu] The Gaeltec catheter tip pressure transducers feature robust metal sensing diaphragms mounted within soft flexible silicone rubber catheters. They have excellent frequency response and are simple to use for standard manometry as well as ambulatory recording. The units are compatible with a wide range of monitors, which have been set for use with conventional pressure transducers having a sensitivity of 5µV/V/mmHg. Sterilisation is by means of cold aqueous solutions of detergicide (e.g. Cidex) or by ethylene oxide gas. Do not use sodium hypochlorite solution. We can make special pressure transducers with other configurations of lumen and balloon ties in this range of extra long catheters. If you have a special need, ask us. See Data Sheet.

Catheter Tip Pressure
Transducers for Ano-rectal Manometry [back to top menu] The Gaeltec catheter tip pressure transducers feature robust metal sensing diaphragms mounted within soft flexible silicone rubber catheters. They have excellent frequency response and are simple to use for standard manometry as well as ambulatory recording. The units are compatible with a wide range of monitors, which have been set for use with conventional pressure transducers having a sensitivity of 5µV/V/mmHg. Sterilisation is by means of cold aqueous solutions of detergicide (e.g. Cidex) or by ethylene oxide gas. Do not use sodium hypochlorite solution. Gaeltec is able to supply variations in the sensor spacing on these standard pressure transducers to suit the particular requirements of the customer usually at no extra cost. Over the years we have made a wide variety of devices using our proven technology. We can make special pressure transducers with lumens, balloon ties, EMG electrodes and multiple sensors at one location. For instance, we have made multiple sensor catheters approximately 7mm Ø with a 6F 2mm Ø PTFE tube with balloon ties able to slide within the central lumen. If you have a special need, ask us. All oesophageal catheters are supplied with centimetre markings. Gaeltec is able to supply variations in the sensor spacing on these standard items to suit the particular requirements of the customer usually at no extra cost. Pressure Transducers for Urology [back to top menu] The Gaeltec catheter tip pressure transducers feature robust metal sensing diaphragms mounted within soft flexible silicone rubber catheters. They have excellent frequency response and are simple to use in all urological applications including ambulatory recording. The units are compatible with a wide range of monitors, which have been set for use with conventional pressure transducers having a sensitivity of 5µV/V/mmHg, using the extension lead, type EL-1 for single and EL-2 for dual sensor pressure transducers, with the appropriate connector which can be fitted by the customer or by Gaeltec. Sterilisation is by means of cold aqueous solutions of detergicide (e.g. Cidex) or by ethylene oxide gas. Do not use sodium hypochlorite solution. Gaeltec is able to supply variations on these standard pressure transducers to suit the particular needs of the customer. See Data Sheet.

Catheter Tip Pressure Transducers for Cardiology The Gaeltec catheter tip pressure transducers for Cardiology feature robust metal sensing diaphragms within polished surgical steel bodies. The sensors can be mounted on a variety of catheter types. They have an excellent frequency response and are simple to use. The units are compatible with a wide range of monitors, which have been set for use with conventional transducers having a sensitivity of 5µV/V/mmHg. Sterilisation is by means of cold aqueous solutions of detergicide (e.g. Cidex) or by ethylene oxide gas. Do not use sodium hypochlorite solution. USCI Woven Dacron catheter 110cm long. Available in sizes 4F to 8F. Most types are available made with reinforced polyurethane catheter material. 3, 4 and 5F PTFE catheters are available up to 250cm long. USCI Woven Dacron catheter 110cm long, with lumen (Slow Injection). Available in sizes 5F to 8F. USCI Woven Dacron catheter 110cm long, with lumen (High speed Injection). Available in sizes 7F and 8F. The above is intended as a guide to our normal range of devices.
